Qisda Holds 2Q’25 Earnings Conference

l   Qisda’s business groups all showed growth in Q2

l   The Medical and BSG businesses demonstrated steady growth and stability

Qisda’s (TWSE: 2352) operations across all business segments improved in the second quarter, with the Medical and BSG businesses both hitting new quarterly records. The Medical business exceeded NT$7 billion in revenue for the third consecutive quarter, while the BSG business reached NT$9.5 billion for the first time. Looking ahead to the third quarter, despite uncertainties related to tariffs and exchange rates, both the Medical and BSG businesses are expected to maintain steady growth.

Qisda held an online investor conference on August 14 to share its Q2 performance and Q3 outlook.

Qisda's Chairman, Peter Chen, stated that Qisda continues to make progress toward its 2027 goal of generating more than half of its profits from high value-added businesses. Both the Medical and BSG businesses have shown stable growth, contributing 14% and 17% of total revenue, respectively, in the first half of the year. These businesses are expected to remain key growth engines for this year.

Qisda's President, Joe Huang, noted that in response to tariff and exchange rate uncertainties, Qisda will enhance cost control, build a resilient supply chain, and invest in long-term growth momentum. He expressed optimism for year-over-year growth in the IT and NCG businesses in Q3. The Medical business will continue expanding into biomedical fields and pharmaceutical distribution channels, while the BSG business will focus on three core areas: computing power, software and services, and intelligent automation.

In terms of performance in each business group in Q2, the IT business achieved a 3% QoQ increase in revenue, while gross margin and operating income remained stable compared to the previous quarter. The Medical business posted a 7% QoQ revenue growth, with improvements in both operating margin and operating income. The BSG business saw an 18% QoQ increase in revenue, accompanied by higher operating margin and operating income. The NCG business experienced a 26% QoQ rise in revenue, though its operating income declined from the previous quarter.
