Qisda Wins 14 TCSAs Alongside Its Fleet, Qisda Continues to Expand Its Sustainability Influence

Qisda is dedicated to business sustainability and has expanded its influence by gathering its fleet partners to take part. This year, Qisda won a total of 14 TCSAs (Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Awards). Not only was Qisda crowned as a “Taiwan Top 100 Sustainability Model Enterprises”, its seven fleet partners also won various awards. Among them, competing for the first time, Alpha Networks, Hitron, DFI, and MetaAge left a deep impression by winning the “Sustainability Report Award”, demonstrating that Qisda’s determination in the implementation of sustainability with its fleet, and their efforts have been widely recognized.

The Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy (TAISE) organized the 15th TCSA in 2022 with the award ceremony taking place on November 16. According to the TAISE, a total of 424 companies entered the competition in 2022, representing an increase of 29% from last year, a record high, making it more difficult to earn an award.

Qisda Chairman Peter Chen said that the Group’s first CSR report was published in 2007 and they have been working hard towards being a sustainable group for over 15 years. The Group spread its influence and joined hands with its supplies and fleet partners to practice sustainability together. The fact that seven of its fleet partners won a total of 14 awards this year compared to three companies winning eight last year shows that the result of hard work is paying off.

Qisda has systematically and structurally set short-, medium-, and long-term targets for “corporate sustainable management”, focusing on five aspects: green products, green operations, green supply chains, social responsibility, and financial performance. With its fleet strategy, Qisda has joined hands with its partners and promotes value transformation while also linking sustainable performance. Qisda’s efforts were recognized as it won a Taiwan Top 100 Sustainability Model Enterprise award.

According to Qisda President Joe Huang, as a flagship company in a large fleet, Qisda has been proactively strengthening the cornerstone of ESG sustainability by actively taking part in a variety of environmental initiatives, such as the Innovation Promotion Alliance of IMV Technologies and Taiwan Climate Partnership. In terms of society, we promote employee stock ownership trusts as well as building a happy enterprise for our employees to work at; in terms of governance, we have improved our operational performance and transparency and we have been in the top 20% of corporate governance assessments over the years.

In the future, Qisda will continue to jointly promote a variety of sustainability activities with its fleet members. At the same time, Qisda will commit itself to the UN’s SDGs by integrating the core competencies and operations strategy of the fleet. Qisda strives to further expand the Group’s influence on sustainability and proactively respond to global sustainability trends.
